opened for business in 1996 and was restored in 2001. In September, 2009, the Inn was purchased by Tom and Poppet Nelson. Tom is the fourth great-grandson of Thomas Nelson, Jr.
, Signer of the Declaration of Independence, Revolutionary War Governor after Thomas Jefferson
and commander of the Virginia Militia during the siege of Yorktown.
