Cyclists are encouraged to tour the battlefields and campgrounds of the Revolutionary Armies. The ten miles of single-lane paved roads through the National Park forests are exceptionally inviting to historians and tourists. The beautiful thirteen mile Colonial Parkway links Yorktown with Williamsburg and Jamestown is a particularly attractive route. Busch Gardens is only 12 minutes from Yorktown. Newport News/Williamsburg International Airport is only 12 miles from Yorktown. Norfolk and Richmond airports are an hour away via I-64.
