Yorktown Beach/Riverwalk Landing is just a short walk from Marl Inn
Information
The inn is named for a hard clay called "Marl". Used as a building material by early Colonists in Yorktown, it is filled with crustaceans found on the banks of the Chesapeake Bay. Constructed in 1978, enlarged in 1996 and again in 1999, for several years. Marl Inn was the last house built in the Colonial district of Yorktown.
Only a half block from Main Street, the inn is within easy walking distance of fine restaurants, antique shops, several museums, and the beach.
Bring your bicycles to tour the village, battlegrounds and museums. Take a short walk to the National Park Service Visitor Center, next to the location of the last battle of the American Revolutionary War.
The inn offers four rooms with private baths. Three are full suites with bedroom, kitchen and private baths. All rooms have outside private entrances.
Marl Inn has introduced a new Value Package!! All rooms are equipped with microwaves, refrigerators, dishes , etc. The Value Package is designed for couples and families that have voiced requests for breakfast foods to be supplied in their rooms, in order that they may have an earlier start to their day. With full kitchens in our suites, and partial kitchens in our other rooms, those that prefer a lighter breakfast may find this option more appealing. Pricing for this option is listed on the "Amenities & Rates" page of this site. Please indicate your choice when reserving your rooms
