A beautiful suite with separate bedroom containing a king-size bed for roomy comfort. A ceiling fans add to your comfort. The living room contains a sofa and comfort chair, television and VCR, and another ceiling fan. The kitchen has an electric stove, full-size refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, double-bay sink, and all that's necessary to fix your own meals. The bathroom has a bath-shower combination. The second floor outside entrance adds to privacy.
A ground floor suite, two double-French doors opening onto the lawn, provides for ultimate relaxation. Queen size bed, separate shower with air-jet tub, full kitchen and a dining room table, and an unbelievable comfortable sofa and matching chair and TV consul adds to your enjoyment. A separate private entrance in the breezeway where you will find additional seating protected from the weather.
Located on the second floor with a private entrance, you are choosing our most economical living area. A double bed and separate bathroom with shower. A small refrigerator and a microwave, a small round table and chairs gives you room for an enjoyable coffee or tea moment. As you relax at night, gaze through the overhead ceiling light to the stars. The hideaway is on the second floor.
Situated just a half block from historic Main Street, you will have the luxury of a short stroll back into history. We look forward to providing you with a most pleasurable memorable visit to our friendly town.
Situated on a half-acre, we are continuing to care and develop this beautiful setting. Surrounded on the front by a traditional white picket fence, you will see a variety of local plantings for your enjoyment. Statuary ornamentation is abound to include our Poppet's own concrete pottery creations. Outdoor seating both at the front and back patios.
Born in 1738, Thomas Nelson, Jr. had a profound impact on our countries history as Signer of the Declaration of Independence, Governor of Virgina after Thomas Jefferson, and Major General of the Virginia Militia. The National Park Service has restored his home on Main Street. See the battlefield where Thomas Nelson, Jr., fought along side George Washington and Lafayette, and even fired artillery at his own home which served as a British headquarters.
